Twisted metal is all that remains of the Iranian owned oil platform, Sirri, that was attacked by American warship the previous day in retaliation for the USS Samuel B. Roberts hitting an Iranian sea mine. Besides Sirri, Sassan oil platform was hit along with two Iranian frigates. Circa 19 April 1988
