A Danish crew member aboard the 339’000 ton Danish registered oil tanker Kate Maersk goes into the recovery room after being operated on at a hospital in Dubai. The Kate Maersk was attacked by an Iranian warship. Three of the Danish crew were seriously injured and the radio operator was killed when the ships bridge was hit by a missile. The ship was sailing from Saudi Arabia to the U.S with crud oil when it was attacked. Circa 13 Feb. 1988
