Thousands of mourners join the families of the 72 dead in a memorial service in Tehran. Iran Air Flight 655 flying from Bandar Abbas in southern Iran to Dubai was shot down by the US warship USS Vincennes killing all 290 passengers and crew. Circa 07 July 1988
